Puppy starter
kit (if
available),
containing information about your new puppy along with helpful
information. Some goodies for the puppy will also be included.
A item with the mother and litter mates scent on the item will be
sent home with the puppy to help reduce the possibility of
separation anxiety. Dewclaws removed, scheduled worming and vaccinations, and
veterinarian health exam will be done at the required dates.
AKC
registration papers are also included.
All puppies are placed in homes on strict non-breeding,
spay/neuter,
limited registration, unless otherwise discussed. Information explaining limited
registration will be included. A responsible breeder encourages the
spay/neuter programs, because there is a lot to raising puppies. If
the new owner(s)
is interested in breeding, the
breeder highly recommends doing a lot of research on the subject so
that the new owner(s)
knows what can happen. Breeder
support is also available when needed.
Documentation of veterinarian health exam is included, but the new
owner(s)
at their own expense, can have
their own veterinarian perform a health exam. The health exam has to
be within 72 hours of acquiring the new puppy. Excluding holidays
and weekends. If the puppy has a
serious health condition, the puppy can be returned for a new puppy
(if available),
of equal value. Documentation is required by your veterinarian, if a
serious health condition occurs, and I the breeder reserve the right
for a second opinion. This does not include any serious health
conditions that are acquired due to the new owner(s)
negligence. I the breeder is
not responsible for liability for any injury to puppy or expenses
that accumulates during the lifetime of the puppy after delivery.
All of
my shelties are veterinarian checked on a regular basis, and the
puppies are veterinarian checked prior to being placed in their new
homes. Refer back to my
about us page
on more how my shelties and their puppies are cared for. My
shelties along with their puppies, have not been exposed to
infectious diseases, and guarantee that every puppy is in good
health when it leaves our home. Once the puppy leaves the breeder's
care, and the puppy is exposed to an infectious disease, this will
not be covered under the 72 hour health guarantee or the option to
decline or accept the extended health guarantee offer which is
explained below. This is especially important to those new owners
that have recently lost a pet. Please be sure you know the cause of
your former pet's death, as infectious diseases can be passed from
dog beds, toys, ect... A dog does not develop full immunity to some
diseases until they are one year old. It is very important to have
the required puppy vaccinations in their first year, including their
booster at one year of age.
New
owner(s)
can decline or accept an
opportunity to add a health guarantee until the puppy's one year
birth date. If you accept this offer, the puppy has to be given the
daily supplement NuVet.
Auto ship is recommended so you don't
forget. I the breeder register the puppy with the NuVet company, if
you fail to order the supplement for that one month
you will receive a courtesy call, postcard, or email from us. If you
don't place your order within three days your health guarantee until
the puppy's birth date is void. Again, if a serious health condition
occurs, documentation is required from your vet, and I the breeder
reserve the right for a second opinion. The returned puppy will be
replaced with a puppy of equal value, when available. This does not
include any serious health conditions or injuries that are acquired due to the
new owners(s)
negligence.
A
contract will be supplied to ensure their is a understanding between
I the breeder and the new puppy owner. Contract content for
modification is subject to change at anytime time. To contact me,
just send a email or call me at
(513)875-2869.
